Manic Monday

Good Morning everyone. Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Today its off to work for me. After work I have valentines to help the kids make. A Valentines box to help Angelina with and gotta put my scraproom back together.

Yesterday we rearranged practically the whole house. Josh was like a pregnant woman nesting. I am not complaining I like my living room much better this way but I was kind of looking forward to the relaxing Sunday.

Good morning Julie. I didn't get much sleep and would have loved to slept in but couldn't. Then a few minutes ago I found out I could have because they delayed schools till 9:30 so some fast arriving, unexpected sleet which is sticking to the roads making the roads extremely slick. Oh well, I have a few things to get done this morning anyways and I will just do a lot of them before getting the kids to school. Becca is texting one of her friends who had already been picked up on the bus and the bus is having to move very slowly and is trying to find a way off the back country road it is on. Scary!

I have a ton of school work and very well become scarce on the computer for a while. On top of all that, I have to find time to gather things for our Honduras trip coming up and have a lot of meeting for things to do with that as well as the Youth.

Just wanted to pop on and hope everyone has a wonderful Monday.

Good morning, (I say good even though it's a Monday and typically I am NOT a Monday person)!!! I'm up already doing laundry.... I have dishes to wash, a bathroom to clean, floors to sweep, then mop, and a crockpot waiting to get started. All this with a small dash of scrappin' thrown in, so it's a busy, busy day here! School is out for the 6th day in a row and it's calling for another small Winter storm tomorrow......if I wasn't so worried about what will happen to Spring Break because of this, I'd actually laugh about the humor of missing so much school due to weather!

On another note..... I'm excitedly awaiting the weekend, simply because of Valentine's Day. My hubby NEVER remembers Valentine's Day so we've never had special plans but last night he reminded me that he was off for it and that he had made some plans to take me out to eat and to a movie...... Ladies, if you knew my husband... then you'd understand why I'm SO excited.... he is the least romantic male in America and forgets every important date except his Birthday, of course The fact that he's planned this far ahead has me excited, if not a little suspicious...... you don't suppose he's planning to take me out to dinner to ask for a divorce, do you? Oh gosh, I hope not!!!

Okay enough about me! Do any of you have "early" plans for a special Valentine's Day? Since I'm not getting anything done while sitting here on the 'puter, I'm going to go get busy on my day's agenda........ Have a super de' duper day, all!!!

Okay, change of plans...School was canceled...

In less than an hour we got this:



Which is already a lot for us in the south. And as soon as someone walks on it (or in Becca's case, scrapes the snow playing) the flakes are so big it takes just a few minutes to fill every empty spot back up. Its gorgeous, but it is suppose to turn to rain if it gets above freezing. Poor DH is at work and he said they slipped and slid all the way.

Morning Girlies. Wish I could get away with 'No School' because of the snow, Angela. Actually I really don't worry about it....if we get it done, that's fine...if not, that's ok too. Ashley ALWAYS works on hers, so no worries there & the younger ones I don't worry about as much, KWIM.

Valentine's Day....The kids & I are supposed to be having a homeschool party at mom's on Thurs....weather permitting, of course. As for Clay & I....well, he has to work on the weekends, so no big plans for us. We usually don't do anything big for Valentine's Day because our anniversary is just right around the corner the first of March & we usually celebrate then.

OMG, Sandy......enjoy! I know the snow is beautiful & all......but I sure will enjoy SPRING an extra big bunch this year!!! We're supposed to get more tomorrow/Wed. I think.

Cleaning here...need to do lots of it and need to pack for an upcoming trip. I'll probably throw in some scrapping along the way. No meetings, no work, just home....nice. Have a great day. Be blessed!

Girls are home from school AGAIN today and I'm off work until tomorrow. DH & oldes dd are heading off to class. I am going to be doing some laundry & then hopefully some scrapping. I have an idea for Valentine's for my younger two girls' classes, so I might work on those for a bit. Other than that... not a whole lot planned for today.

It's been a busy morning here....ds and i took the trash off, went to two different grocery stores, cleaned up wax from a candle that fell over and splattered all over the walls, floor and toilet in the bathroom.....all this between loads of laundry and only 5 hours of sleep last night. hope to nap later and scrap some more this evening.....check in with you all later.
