I went to Curves yesterday morning then had to walk a mile after my workout to the dealership to get a ride to work. the kids had swimming lessons last night. while they were there, I was able to walk on the track - and I did more than walk. I even jogged 1/8 of a mile and walked another 1 1/8 mile. I guess you can say I got my exercise in yesterday

I guess I am pretty much into a exercise routine. I do something just about every day. today it was a mile and a half walk at the track.

The really stunning thing is that I am thinking of picking exercise over scrapping. There is a great scrappy retreat this spring. And I was looking forward to going. however for just about the same amount of money I could join Curves for a year. I am seriously thinking about doing the latter.

Exercise is supposed to be good for you - now if that isn't a load of you know what, I don't know what is.

My knee has been sore ever since I started this. It is supposed to give you lots of energy - Who came up with that one? I dragged myself to curves this morning and I have felt drained ever since. I am going to still stick with my line that exercise is BAD!!!

Ok, I will admit that it does make the weight loss easier, but as to all the other claims, I think that they are hogwash just to get people to be miserable - and they are succeeding

I had a pleasant surprise this morning. I put on a sweater and I noticed it was looser than it was. This is encouraging because although I was seening some progress at the scale, I didn't really notice any in the clothing department. I think part of that might be due to the fact that some of the clothes were so snug that I quit wearing them. I certainally do not need to go clothes shoppng but maybe some day I will.

Not a good week on the scale - and having parties every evening this weekend didn't help either. HOwever I was measured at curves this morning (what a horrid way to start a week - before the sun is up I had to face a scale and a tape measure). I don't remember the totals but I know that I have lost 5 inches from my waist - only about 20 more to go. *sigh*

It has been ages since I checked in here. Some good - consistently exercising 3+ times a week. Some not so good - BIG Mexican dinner on Valentine's Day. Over all the pounds are coming off albeit slowly.
